1. Scope & Controller
This Policy covers our public website, download delivery, and the Software distributed by us. The data controller for website interactions is Interview Ignition Pro, Hyderabad, India. For questions, see Contact.
2. Privacy Principles
- Local‑first: We design features to run on your device.
- Data minimization: We avoid collecting personal data unless necessary and under your control.
- Security‑by‑default: Use OS permissions, code signing, and edge security.
- Transparency: Clear, plain‑language explanations.
- User control: You choose if any data leaves your device.
3. What We Do Not Collect
We do not collect or store the following on our servers:
- Identity information (name, email, phone) — unless you voluntarily email us.
- Call audio, video, captions, or transcripts.
- Screen content, screenshots, OCR text, or in‑call prompts and suggestions.
- Session analytics, heatmaps, or tracking pixels.
- Precise geolocation, contacts, calendars, or messages.
4. On‑Device Processing
The Software operates on your machine. Access to screen and microphone is requested via your OS and used solely to provide live coaching. Settings (like preferred modes) are stored locally. If you choose to integrate an external AI API key, requests are made from your device to that provider, using your key. We do not proxy or store your keys.
- Permissions: You control OS permissions and may revoke them at any time.
- Exports: Any summaries you export remain on your device unless you share them.
5. Minimal Information We May Process
By default, we avoid collecting personal data. Limited processing may occur in these cases:
- Support communications: If you email us, we process your email and the content you send to respond.
- Receipt delivery: If you request a receipt, we process the email address you provide solely to send it.
- Edge metrics: Our CDN may measure anonymous request counts/latency to keep downloads reliable. These do not identify you.
6. Legal Bases
Where relevant, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract: To deliver downloads/support you request.
- Legitimate interests: To protect the service (e.g., basic anti‑abuse), improve reliability, and communicate essential notices.
- Consent: When you choose to integrate third‑party AI providers with your own keys.
8. Payments & Downloads
If you purchase the Software through a third‑party payment processor, your payment details are handled by that provider under their terms; we do not receive your full card details. Downloads are delivered via a global content delivery network for speed and reliability.
9. Service Providers
We may use reputable infrastructure providers (e.g., content delivery networks) to host static assets and deliver downloads. These providers may process limited technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver content securely and efficiently, subject to their privacy policies.
10. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures such as HTTPS, code signing, and OS‑level permission scoping. No method is perfectly secure; we continuously improve safeguards.
11. Retention
Because we do not collect personal details by default, there is no routine server‑side retention. For support emails, we retain your message only as long as necessary to resolve your request or comply with law, after which it is minimized or deleted.
12. International Transfers
Our infrastructure partners may operate globally. Where applicable, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) provided by those partners to protect any limited technical data they process.
13. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to processing of your personal information. To exercise rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond as required by applicable law.
14. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect improvements, feature changes, or legal requirements. Material updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
